During his evening tour to the Hatta Border Crossing, H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs, CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation pointed out the high quality services provided to clients have contributed significantly in facilitating traffic and speeding up the declaration process.

Musabih met with a number of clients at the Hatta Border Crossing and had friendly chats with them. They highly applauded the innovative technologies introduced by Dubai Customs to save time and effort and boost returns.

The average client spends only 4 minutes at the customs center to complete their transactions. Client happiness with the services provided by Dubai Customs reached 98%.

In his visit to Hatta customs center, Musabih was accompanied by members of the higher management team. The visit aims to review the level of services provided to clients at different customs centers in Dubai and listen to their suggestions and feedback.

“We want to listen directly to the merchants and passengers following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai,” said Musabih. “Officials’ right place is the field, and Dubai Customs keeps developing its customs procedures at Hatta Border Crossing and other customs centers to ensure best services and facilities are delivered to the clients.  Hatta Border Crossing is a major crossing point, whether for passengers of the Gulf region or land freight. It plays a major role in facilitating trade and passenger traffic between Dubai and the Sultanate of Oman.”
