Putting its forward-looking vision into practice, Dubai Customs continues to invest in human capital to reinforce its leadership and drive innovation. Dubai Logistics Academy is a key pillar of this approach, developing specialist talent and building the capabilities needed to keep pace with rapid change across customs and logistics. Through an advanced training framework built on the highest international standards, the Academy strengthens workforce readiness, supporting Dubai Customs’ objectives of enabling trade, strengthening Dubai’s competitiveness and reinforcing its position as a leading global hub for trade and logistics.

This approach is reflected in the results achieved by Dubai Logistics Academy during the first half of 2026. A total of 894 trainees participated in the programmes, representing an increase of 13.64% compared with the same period last year.

The Academy’s performance indicators confirmed the quality of its training framework. The programmes recorded a satisfaction rate of 94%, reflecting the effectiveness of the training content and its alignment with operational needs. This result also demonstrates the Academy’s success in delivering an advanced learning experience that develops skills and enhances employees’ professional capabilities.

To strengthen readiness for digital transformation, the Academy delivered 220 training programmes in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, alongside 44 leadership programmes focused on developing leadership and management skills. These programmes were designed to equip employees to lead teams, manage change and make effective decisions in evolving work environments.

The training framework also included specialised programmes in cybersecurity, data analysis, digital technologies, project management, risk management, business continuity, customs legislation and procedures, supply chains and logistics.

These programmes build institutional capabilities, improve operational efficiency and strengthen employees’ ability to adapt to future changes with agility and innovation. They underscore the pivotal role of Dubai Logistics Academy in developing a workforce that combines specialist knowledge with future skills and is equipped to shape the future of customs and logistics while sustaining institutional excellence.
