Dubai Customs launches Virtual Reality Leadership Lab

Within its efforts to keep abreast with the latest technological advancements, Dubai Customs launched the Virtual Reality Leadership Lab initiative in cooperation with the Biz Group. The new initiative aims to use technology in education and develop employees’ skills. 

The new unique initiative integrates virtual reality with interactive content that was designed based on behavioral psychology science. 







“We invest in the latest technologies to upgrade and develop our people’s skills and expertise,” said Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Director of HR Department. “Using technologies such as the AI will help expand the horizons of our work to deliver best services to our clients. The world is changing fast and we have to keep the momentum to keep up with the advanced world in fulfilment of the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.”


Al Ghaffari pointed out that the launch marks the beginning of a new era for leadership training in the region and supports the ambitious goals of the UAE to help foster future-ready leaders that are equipped to face the challenges that an ever-evolving global business landscape presents. Developing a 'competitive knowledge economy' is one of the key pillars of the UAE National Agenda in line with Vision 2021.
