Dubai Customs organizes “Searching for Me” lecture

Celebrating the month of reading, and following the directives of the UAE cabinet resolution, which announces March as the National Month of Reading, Dubai Customs’ Corporate Communication Department, in cooperation with the Customs Training Center, organized a virtual lecture titled “Meeting with a Writer”. 

Khalid Ahmed Shukr Allah, inspection officer at Passenger Operations Department was invited to talk about his book “Searching for Me”, published in 2019 and exhibited at the Sharjah International Book Fair. 

The lecture aims at shedding light on the role Dubai Customs plays in encouraging and supporting its creative employees, 

In his lecture, Khalid highlighted the importance of reading as a daily routine, which helps enrich our knowledge and positively influences our social and practical life.

 “The National Month of Reading is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on the importance of reading in improving brain connectivity, increasing vocabulary and comprehension, and preventing cognitive decline as we age,” said Khalid.
