As part of Dubai Customs efforts in social responsibility and following the announcement of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to make 2017 a year for giving and selflessness, Dubai Customs organized an awareness function that targeted sailors and laborers at Deira wharf. 500 medical kits were distributed in the event.
The initiative, which was carried out by Dubai Customs’ Ghayyath Volunteer Team in coordination with the CSR section and in cooperation with Marcura company and Ports police center, reflects Dubai Customs’ efforts to keep pace with the UAE's CSR drives and achievements.
Giving has always been a cherished value in the UAE, and Dubai Customs has put plans in place to apply its CSR initiatives in accordance with the vision of the Year of Giving in the UAE.
