Customer care center for mail services at Dubai Customs issued 11,558 customs declarations in 2016 effectively and easily thus maintaining the status of Dubai Customs as a leading department on Smart Dubai Office’s Happiness Meter.
Commenting on this, Humaid Al Rashid, Director – Air Customs Centre Management said:
“All customs centers work in compliance with Dubai Customs vision of becoming the leading customs administration in the world supporting legitimate trade. Air customs centers use the latest electronic smart services and adopt the best customs practices following the directives of the Department’s management to raise Dubai’s profile as a regional business hub, he added.
On his part, Omar Hamad Al Merri, Senior Manager, Um Rummul Post Office, explained that doing transactions effectively and quickly is the norm at Dubai Customs.
“This comes as part of our management’s vision of achieving the best customer satisfaction and happiness in support of Dubai’s competitiveness and the national economy in general, he added.
All inspection takes place in Um Rummol post office before distributing parcels to Karama and Abu Hail post offices where they are sorted and inspected very carefully.
