Dubai Customs received a delegation from Al Noor Center for children of special needs at the Department’s headquarters inline with the continuous interaction with the different society segments especially the disabled and providing them with the necessary support.
Coordination for this visit was made by the Community Affairs and Government Partnership Division and the Client Management at Dubai Customs to increase the awareness campaigns about giving more attention and support to the people of special needs.
Mr. Mohammed Faraj Abdulla, Director of Client Management at Dubai Customs said:" Dubai Custom gives much attention to reaching out to the different society categories that need assistance and support as part of its corporate values. Special needs people are very dear to us and we shall help them feel integrated in the society; something we cater for through our continuous initiatives throughout the year in cooperation with the social support centers and associations.”
Mr. Faraj added that a delegation consisting of volunteers from Dubai Customs will visit Al Noor Center in the near future to spend an entire day with the children of the Center.
He also pointed out that the Client Management recently launched a donation campaign among Customs staff for Al Noor Center. Once it ends, all donations will be given to the Center.
