The Passenger Operation Department at Dubai Customs received an honor certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in recognition of Customs hospitality towards members of the diplomatic missions in Dubai and for the constructive cooperation between Customs and MOFA.
Mr. Ali al Mugahwi, Director of Passenger Operation Department at Dubai Customs received the certificate from H.E. Ambassador Abdul Rahman Al Shamlan, Director of MOFA office in Dubai.
Mr. Al Mugahwi stated that Customs is keen on maintaining the civilized treatment with all the passengers heading to the UAE especially the diplomatic missions which represent their countries.
Inline with the directives of the upper management in Dubai Customs, the Passenger Operation Department organizes and conducts educational and specialized courses for its inspectors on the code of conduct with the passengers in general and the diplomats in particular, locally and internationally.
Dubai Customs delegated a number of inspection officials to enroll in specialized courses in diplomatic institutes in Jordan, Lebanon and other countries.
Diplomats are treated in a special manner at all Customs entries as they are welcomed by facilitating their entry procedures and providing assistance and support to them.
Dubai Customs holds regular meeting with the MOFA in order to look into the implemented procedures in this regard
