PCFC Shines at GITEX Global 2023: Paving the Way for Global Customs and Logistics Excellence






The Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation's initiatives showcased at GITEX Global 2023 have garnered extensive praise from both local and foreign stakeholders and diplomatic delegations. They have affirmed the success of the digital transformation efforts within the Ports and Customs Corporation in enhancing its position as a global leader in customs and logistics services. The corporation has actively participated in seven innovative projects centered around the theme of "Excellence in Sustainability and Artificial Intelligence," contributing to its ongoing commitment to facilitating business operations and developing forward-looking services that support the sustainability of commercial and economic growth in Dubai.

H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs and CEO of Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, extended a warm welcome to distinguished guests at PCFC's pavilion during the global exhibition. Among these guests were His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Ports and Customs Department; His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police; and Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security. During their visit, they were given a comprehensive explanation of the Remote Inspection project and had the opportunity to explore the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation's projects.

Additionally, His Excellency Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, General Director of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai, His Excellency Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, the Director General of Dubai Courts, Dawood Al Hajri, the Director-General of Dubai Municipality, and Abdulla Al Falasi. Director General at Dubai Government Human Resources Department, also visited the corporation's pavilion. Notably, the delegation from the General Ports Authority in Saudi Arabia, along with numerous diplomatic delegations, foreign companies, university students, and youth councils representing various government entities, were among the distinguished visitors.

The Director-General of Dubai Customs emphasized the global significance of GITEX as a platform for innovation, collaborative partnerships, and forward-looking strategies in the fields of modern technology and artificial intelligence. He underlined the role of GITEX in showcasing high-quality services to stakeholders in government and private sectors. Furthermore, he highlighted that Dubai Customs has announced a series of projects designed to streamline customs procedures and automate operations through the adoption of cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence.
