Dubai Customs distributes 115,700 iftar meals to workers
Dubai Customs has served 115,700 iftar meals to workers and helpers through this Ramadan. The drive is part of a charitable initiative, Your Iftar on Us, launched by Ghayat Volunteer Team and CSR section of the Corporate Communications Department to provide iftar meals to cleaning helpers, gatekeepers, and security personnel across different Customs centers in Dubai.
The campaign, which is organized every year in Ramadan, is aimed at encouraging the staff community to do acts of goodwill, promote the culture of volunteerism, and instil principles of social solidarity.
This year’s Your Iftar on Us initiative has been carried out in cooperation with Beit Al Khair Society, UAE Red Crescent and Al Barari company, with contributions from DC volunteers and CSR team.
