Dubai Customs announced they have already taken all precautionary measures to facilitate travel procedures for passengers visiting Dubai through Dubai Airports during the Eid al Fitr Holiday, especially from the Gulf States.
To ensure safety and streamlined travel experience under the Covid-19 circumstances, Dubai Customs dedicated 820 inspectors to work around the clock at the Passenger Operations Department, and 63 baggage scanners (48 scanners for big bags, and 15 scanners for carry-on bags), as well as other supporting systems.
“Dubai Customs put together a plan to ensure a smooth Eid Holiday for all visitors, especially our brothers in the Gulf,” said Ibrahim Kamali, Director of Passenger Operations Department. “We work hard to provide a distinguished service befitting the emirate's position as a leading tourist destination in coordination with our strategic partners including Dubai Airports Company, Emirates Airlines, and other international airlines.”
Kamali pointed out that communication between the duty staff, building managers and team leaders is active and effective around the clock during Eid Holiday, especially in what is related to the covid-19 precautions to ensure safety and good reception for the emirate’s visitors.
