Dubai Customs organizes two auctions, with Dh220 revenues

Dubai Customs organized last Thursday two auctions that made Dh220,000 or revenues. Dnata auction generated Dh135,000 and clearance companies’ auction made Dh85,000. 

The two auctions were organzed the same day at the Cargo Village amid strict precautionary measures including temperature checks, facemasks, gloves and social distancing. The goods included clothes, electronics, shoes, phones, and medical accessories. 

These auctions are organized for goods that were not collected by proprietors within the allotted time and their warehousing period has expired. 

This is the first public auction organized by Dubai Customs since the spread of the coronavirus
