Dubai Customs receives Level 4 certificate in Managing Benefits

Dubai Customs successfully completed the “Managing Benefits Maturity & Benchmarking Assessment” which was conducted at the Department’s head office.
With this accolade, Dubai Customs becomes the first government entity in the Middle East and North Africa to have conducted this international assessment. The level4-advanced that Dubai Customs attained puts it amongst the top 20 percentile of organizations worldwide.
Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs service received in his office the employees of Demand Management part of Dubai Customs’ Project Delivery Department in the presence of Juma Al Ghaith, Executive Director of Customs Development Division at Dubai Customs and congratulated them for their distinctive efforts. 
Ahmad Al Yaqoobi Project Delivery Director, Customs Development Division pointed out that Dubai Customs operates a number of diverse projects which makes it necessary to obtain the optimal benefit from these projects.
“This encouraged us to build up an innovative benefit management strategy by digging through the best world practices in the field within a mature governance methodology” he added. 
Mohammed Rashid bin Hashim, Senior Manager of Demand Management said the recognition will open the way for more gains in the race for distinction and success in project delivery.
On his part, Stephen Jenner, Author and Chief Examiner of Managing Benefits at the International Institute for Learning applauded Dubai Customs’ practice in investment management and how to yield maximum benefits from different programs and projects.
