Saif bin Zayed honours Musabih in recognition of Dubai Customs’ support to Customer Service Excellence Diploma

​H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, has honoured H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, in recognition of Dubai Customs’ supporting role to the Customer Service Excellence Diploma. The recognition  came during the graduation ceremony of 490 government employees - the second batch of the Diploma, which took place recently at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi. 

H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih hailed H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recognition of Dubai Customs’ supporting role to the Customer Service Excellence Diploma. “I would like to extend sincere gratitude to H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed for bestowing this honour upon Dubai Customs and thank the Ministry of Interior’s Customer Service Department for their excellent organisation of the event,” he said. 

Musabih underscored that “Training national work forces and sharing experiences and knowledge with them are some of DC’s strategic objectives. Supporting the Diploma falls within these objectives.” 

The Director of Dubai Customs congratulated the second cohort of graduates and commended the Diploma’s outcomes, noting that  “This recognition is an incentive for us to continue our stride towards excellence and innovation.”

The Client Management Director at Dubai Customs Edris Behzad pointed out that participants of the Diploma’s second batch paid a visit to DC. He said, “They were introduced to Dubai Customs’ exceptional experience in customer service as well as its customer communication channels and the best practices and excellence awards in this area.” 

The Ministry of Interior has launched the Customer Service Excellence Diploma program in cooperation with Etisalat Academy. The Diploma helps qualify the customer service employees who are granted certificates accredited by International Business Training Association (IBTA). The program is available for all customer service employees, who are chosen based on certain conditions and criteria set by the Customer Service Department at the MoI.
