As part of the wide media coverage of the recently launched Virtual Freight and Logistics Corridor, an innovative initiative by Dubai Customs in cooperation with Department of Economic Development in Dubai, the English language specialized magazine Logistics News Middle East dedicated an extensive six-page cover story to shed light on this ingenious economic initiative in its June 2015 edition.
Under a salient front-page headline “Dubai’s Virtual Freight & Logistics Corridor – Streamlining Logistics through Seamless Processes”, the cover story featured an interview that the magazine had conducted with His Excellency Ahmed Mahboob Musabih , Director of Dubai Customs, following the official announcement and initiation of the Virtual Freight & Logistics Corridor. HE Ahmed Mahboob highlighted the significance of this new Customs procedure and its expected impact on trade and business, as well as the role of Dubai Customs towards the effective implementation of Dubai Plan 2021 objectives for trade and economy.
