Dubai Customs’ Ladies Committee is organising a trip for DC women volunteers to have first-hand experience with Expo Milano 2015. The trip will be on the first of May. Exploring best practices of Expo Milano will offer a great advantage in the run-up for Expo Dubai 2020.
Commenting on the importance of the trip, Maryam Khalifa Al Shamsi, Head of the Ladies Committee at DC, said that the women employees of DC will be able to see at first-hand the arrangements taken by the Italian city to host this mega exposition.
“Being at Expo Milano will hone the corporate understanding of the arrangements to be made for Expo 2020. Employees have already set up a clear concept for the trip agenda and the roles assigned to each one of them. We will go through the details of the trip at the preparatory meetings,” Al Shamsi added.
