Dubai Government Suggestions Forum 2014 to discuss shifting into innovative suggestion platform

Heads of suggestion & complaint units at government departments in Dubai will come together at the Dubai Government Unified Suggestions System Forum 2014 to explore the prospects of developing the system. Themed “Innovative Platform for Exceptional Services”, the 3rd edition of the forum will be hosted by the Dubai Model Center and Dubai Customs on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. The event will see the participation of H.E. Abdullah Al Shaibani, Secretary-General of the Dubai Executive Council, H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, and H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai Smart Government.
The forum will incorporate three panel sessions to highlight the experiences of Dubai Government departments in developing their suggestion systems and the achievements they made in this field. Participants will explore the prospects of developing the Dubai Government Unified Suggestion System to keep pace with the transformation from e-government to smart government. In this context, Dubai Smart Government Department will present a paper titled “Keys to A Successful  Suggestion System “. On the other hand, the Dubai Model Center will deliver a presentation on how suggestions improve services. 
Heads of suggestion units at Dubai Customs, DED, Dubai Police, Health Authority and Land Department, will also give papers at the forum to illustrate their expertise in handling employee suggestions. 
Microsoft and Hype Technical Solutions will present global organisations’ suggestion practices and modern world-class suggestion schemes.
Commenting on the forum, Mrs Eman Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Model Centre, said “The Dubai Government Unified Suggestion System was able to enhance the experience of suggestion sections at government departments. The Dubai Suggestion Forum 2014 facilitates the exchange of experiences amongst heads of suggestion units and the discussion of the unified system’s role as an innovative platform for delivering exceptional services in support of Dubai Smart Government transformation.”
 Ahmed Abdul Salam Kazim, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department at Dubai Customs, said “The Dubai Suggestion Forum 2014 will be the perfect opportunity for participants to discuss the prospects of  the suggestion system and showcase achievements in this area.
