Air Customs Centers meet with Strategic Partners in presence of MoH Undersecretary

The Dubai Customs’ Air Customs Centers Department (ACCD) held a coordination meeting with a number of its strategic partners, including Ministry of Health, Dubai Police General Headquarters, and Emirates Airlines Group. The meeting shows ACCD’s commitment to maintaining regular channels of communication and exchanging ideas and suggestions with its partners. The aim of such joint cooperation is to leverage the important role ACCD plays in safeguarding Dubai’s air borders and the community’s security.
Dubai Customs was represented in the meeting by Humaid Mohammed Rashid, Director, ACCD; Majid Al Tawila, Acting Senior Manager, Cargo Village  Customs Center; Younes Ibrahim, Senior Manager, Airport Free Zone.
From MoH’s part, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Public Health Policies and Licensing; Juma Al Roum, Dubai Police; Ali Ankiza, Head of Air Cargo Security Office, Dubai Airports, Emirates Airlines Group; and Bodoor Al Mazami, Manager, Emirates Cargo, alongside a host of other officials from the mentioned organizations were present at the session. 
The meeting mainly discussed the procedures followed at Dubai Customs when handling medical consignments, as well as fostering cooperation between DC and MoH for further facilitations and compliance with MoH’s regulations in force.
