Dubai Customs announced the working hours at its customs centers and posts during Eid Al Fitr holiday, to ensure continuity of clearance of goods for both individuals and companies according to convenient times for clients.
Working hours at the Customs Inspection Center in Dubai Logistics City will be from 9:00a.m. to 1:00 a.m, while the Operation Centre will be closed throughout Eid holiday. Jebel Ali Inspection Center shall operate on 24/7 basis, while working hours at the Operation Section in Jebel Ali Centre will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Clearance Section in the Customer Service Center at Port Rashid will operate Mirsal 2 system on 24/7 basis.
The Dubai Multi Commodities and Metals Centre/ Gold and Jewelry at the Dubai Airport Free Zone will be closed from 29th Ramadan 1434 (7th of August 2013) and will resume working on 4th Shawwal 1434.
The new Customs Declaration Section shall provide its services on 24/7 basis throughout the official holiday, while the Customs Declaration Service Section will resume working on the 3rd day of Eid from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Dubai Airport Terminal 5 Free Zone will be operational round-the-clock.
Moreover, the Free Zone Inspection Center which includes the following sections: Cargo Inspection Group, Flowers Inspection Group and Express Cargo Inspection Group, will operate on a 24/7 basis.
