
The Carpet Oasis which organized by Dubai Customs during Dubai Shopping Festival, within a week time from its launch at Dubai World Trade Centre has generated Dh6.5million
Khalid AL Muadhin, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee for Carpet Oasis revealed that the Oasis during the first week of its start, the numbers of visitors were up to 1000 visitors and 270 pieces were sold with value of Dh6.5million.
AL Muadhin explained that the Carpet Oasis which started from 27th December, and continues its events till 4th January, this year the fair has a special roll out of rarest and most valuable multi-charm taste collections of handmade carpets specially imported by exhibitors in the fair which held in an area over 7000 square metres at Dubai World Trade Centre- Za’abeel Hall 3, showcasing over 170.000 handmade carpets, involving participation by up to 50 companies featuring exclusive of their premium luxurious handmade carpets that designed by world leading handmade carpet manufacturers renowned for thriving carpet weaving industries, namely, such as Iran, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and India.
Khalid AL Muadhin added that the Oasis visitors within the first week were 1000 visitors. the Oasis awards a daily raffle opportunity for shoppers to win the mega Nissan draw of 12 different types of cars. the draw coupon for the mega Nissan raffle can also be another chance for winners when have shopping purchase coupons at the Oasis with amount of 500 dirhams each.
