Dubai Customs organizes workshop on Risk Engine at RAK Customs

Within the framework of Dubai Customs’ commitment to strengthen its relations with its strategic partners and in an effort to enhance the cooperation between government departments and federal authorities, the Government Partnership Section at the Corporate Communication Department has arranged On Wednesday, 12/12/2012, to organize a workshop on the risk engine system for RAK Customs Department. The visit is part of a plan followed by Dubai Customs to share information and experiences in the customs business field. 

 
Dubai Customs delegation comprised of Mr. Abdulaziz Al Salman, Senior Manager of Risk Profile at the Intelligence Department, and Mr. Mohammed Rashid Al Mazroui, Senior Manager of Risk Management Section.
The delegation was hosted by HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahrazi, Director General of the RAK Ports and Customs, and Mrs Anwar Seif Al Rams, Deputy General Director of Resources and Development, and a number of department directors.
 

During the meeting, Mr. Abdulaziz Al Salman illustrated the followed work mechanism at the Customs Intelligence Department and made a presentation of the Risk Engine System, highlighting its multiple features, its importance and the mechanism of collecting and analyzing information.
On his side, Mr Al Mazroui talked about the responsibilities of the Audit and Risk Management and the mechanism of identifying and assessing risks and ways of dealing with them.

 

At the end, Mr Al Mazroui thanked RAK Customs Department, represented by the Director General, for their warm hospitality. On the other hand, the attendees expressed their appreciation to Dubai Customs delegation for the valuable information that were discussed during the workshop.
