Dubai Customs Offers 115 Job Openings at Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 with On-the-Spot Interviews
Dubai Customs is participating in the Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 fair, taking place from September 24 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the Dubai Government Human Resources Department platform. The department is offering 115 job vacancies in various fields, including customs inspection, finance, IT, customs auditing, and specialized roles for people of determination. Dubai Customs aims to achieve its strategic objectives by creating opportunities for Emirati youth to take on value-added roles in customs work and focus on programs that enhance their skills and capabilities, preparing them for vital sectors and contributing to the national economy.
Commenting on Dubai Customs' participation in the fair, Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Executive Director of Human Resources Division at Dubai Customs, said: "We are committed to strengthening the Emiratisation strategy by attracting and employing young Emirati talent in customs work, while also supporting people of determination by offering them roles that allow them to showcase their skills and expertise. Additionally, we are working on development projects to create job opportunities and encourage young Emiratis to seize these opportunities and contribute to a promising future aligned with Dubai's economic and social goals."
He further mentioned that 100% of customs inspection roles are now filled by Emiratis, underlining the department’s belief in the vital role of Emirati talent in enhancing customs operations. He highlighted the academic and professional training programs designed to develop a sustainable and attractive work environment for Emirati employees, promoting their productivity and active contribution to the economy while ensuring the security and safety of the community.
Al Ghaffari encouraged young Emiratis to engage with the Dubai Customs platform at the fair to learn about available job opportunities and benefit from the educational and professional development programs that will open up future prospects.
Samira Mohammed Al Awadhi, Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Dubai Customs, emphasized the importance of the career fair, noting that it provides Dubai Customs with an opportunity to showcase job vacancies and attract Emirati talent by offering them a chance to start a promising future grounded in innovation and forward-thinking, while benefiting from the learning and development opportunities provided by the department in a sustainable work environment.
She also pointed out that Dubai Customs' participation in the fair is an opportunity for direct interaction with job seekers, answering their questions, assisting with registration, and conducting on-the-spot interviews to match their qualifications with the department's needs.
