​Dubai Customs shares Courier Facilitation experience with Abu Dhabi Counterpart 


Dubai Customs continues to foster its commitment to strengthening relationships with other government entities by collaborating with Abu Dhabi Customs to share knowledge and best practices in facilitating the activities of courier companies. Recently, a delegation from Abu Dhabi Customs visited Dubai Customs to exchange ideas and information on how to enhance the client experience and streamline customs procedures for courier companies.




The visitors were welcomed by Younis Ibrahim, Senior Manager of Customer Service at Dubai Customs, and the delegation included  Safia Mubarak, Head of Abu Dhabi Customs' Data Management Department, Ammar Yousef Al-Hamadi, Head of the Customer Happiness Section, Khulood Mohammed Thabit, Head of the Customs Licenses Section, and Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hamadi, Senior Facilitation and Compliance Monitor Officer. The aim of the visit was to exchange valuable insights and practical strategies for enhancing the facilitation of courier companies' activities.

 

During the visit, Dubai Customs' Client Happiness Department presented its organizational structure, client happiness improvement initiatives, and economic incentives offered to support clients. The Consultative Council initiative was also discussed through which Dubai Customs listens to its clients' proposals, suggestions and complaints to help further facilitate their trade activities and operations.

 

Dubai Customs highlighted its efforts to improve client happiness through various initiatives, such as the monthly ceremony to honor distinguished clients. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen sustainable communication and recognize clients as partners in Dubai Customs' journey of success and excellence.

 

The collaboration between Dubai Customs and Abu Dhabi Customs reflects the shared commitment of these two organizations to achieve common goals. By sharing knowledge and experiences, they aim to enhance the client experience and streamline customs procedures, thereby contributing to the growth and success of the UAE's economy.
