Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahbooh Musabih, visited Dubai Customs stand at UAE Careers 2018 and viewed the Department’s job application mechanism.
A total of 299 job seekers applied to fill one of the 132 vacancies available at Dubai Customs in 2018, and 25 candidates were interviewed to work as customs inspectors.
Iman Al Abdouli, Senior Recruitment Manager in Dubai Customs pointed out Dubai Customs stand saw a great turnout from visitors and job seekers who had the chance to learn more about the innovative work environment that the Department provides.

“We also opened the door wide open to receive applications from Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation following an MoU signed with the foundation to support these minors” she added.
Al Abdouli explained that Dubai Customs has made it possible to everyone to apply online from the convenience of their place, which supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai of turning Dubai into a smart paperless city.
The over 100-year-old department announces 132 vacancies for Emiratis during the event. These will be in customs development, IT, HR, inspection, administrative affairs, strategy, customs tariff, legal affairs, finance, and customs auditing.
