Dubai Customs continues to receive the public’s participations in the Photo Puzzle Collage contest it launched on the occasion of celebrating the UAE’s 40th National Day. A huge photo puzzle collage will be assembled to express “the Spirit of the Union”.
The judging panel of the contest received dozens of participations up to this moment by the UAE’s nationals and residents of different ages; all of whom have interacted positively with the contest since it kicked off in November 2011. Rules and conditions for participating in the contest were announced on Dubai Customs website www.dubaicustoms.gov.ae in addition to some photography forums in the UAE.
The conditions mandate that the UAE flag should be a component of the photo; it could be main or minor. The photo could be in black and white or in colors except for the UAE flag’s four colors which should remain the same. It should also express the feelings of pride and loyalty to the UAE and be of high quality type JPG or TIFF format with a size of not more than 1MB. It should be authentic and taken by the participant themselves as well.

The participation will be open until Tuesday November 15th, 2011. Subsequently, all photos will be examined to choose the appropriate pictures which will form the huge Photo Puzzle Collage highlighting a renowned UAE union’s hotspot. Visitors of Mirdiff City Center will partake in assembling the collage starting Saturday, November 26th, 2011. The collage will be ready for display on December 2nd, 2011 which is celebrated the UAE’s National Day.
The judging panel which comprises members of Dubai Customs and Emirates Photography Society will supervise assessing and selecting the winning photos of the contest. Valuable prizes await winners of the best three photos submitted besides merit certificates which will be handed to all participants by Dubai Customs.
