Dubai Customs, the Carpet & Art Oasis exhibition organizer, has leased 60% of the 3,500 m2 available space for the renowned exhibition so far and is still receiving requests from exhibitors who are willing to participate in the exhibition.
The Carpet & Art Oasis exhibition will be organized this year in Port Rashid Marina over 47 days from 5th January to 16th February 2020 in conjunction with the Dubai Shopping Festival.

Mariam Al Shamsi, Deputy Head of Carpet & Art Oasis organizing committee pointed out the committee has held a meeting with carpet merchants to discuss different preparations for the 25th edition of the exhibition.

There are 34 pavilions in the exhibition, each is 60 m2, and out of which 13 have already been leased.
“With 25 years of history, this year’s edition will be exceptional as more functions and interactive displays will be added to the event. Dubai Customs aims to attract more local carpet manufacturers to the exhibition this year” Al Shamsi said.
The Carpet & Art Oasis is a unique annual event, which now draws in thousands of tourists and visitors from all around the world to Dubai. It was first launched in 1996 as one of the main long-running attractions of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DFS).
It offers a treasure trove of exquisite and priceless carpets, with traders from all over the world, offering good value on a comprehensive range of handmade floor coverings. From a tiny carpet outlet to one of the world’s largest exhibitions of hand-woven mats, the Carpet & Art Oasis is gaining grandeur year after year both in terms of exhibition space, the level of participation and the items on display.
