Dubai Customs joins forces with CIPD to launch HR development training program

Dubai Customs launched their specialized training program for skill and professional development in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the expert professional body for HR and people development.


The program, the first of its kind at government level, will train 54 employees on the best practices in modern management of human resources and elevate their skillset. It aims to build the capability and skills of the team, and continue to develop them through training, qualifications, professional accreditation and consultancy.

 

 

 
“We aim to build the best team to deliver our people strategy, improve performance and engagement to meet our business objectives, and professionalize our team through training, and qualifications,” said Mohammed Al Ghaffari, Director of HR Department. “Our strategy supports Dubai Plan 2021, and the UAE Centennial 2071, which will see the UAE the best country in the world in all fields.
Employee engagement is a very important concept in today’s management and this is what we are working on through this program with focus on management change, planning and resource optimization.”
