As part of their social involvement and support, Corporate Communications Department at Dubai Customs organized “Thank you my teacher” initiative in the presence of Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs. The initiative comes in recognition of teachers and their hard work and sacrifice to teach their students and prepare them to a brighter future.
The event took place in the main building of Dubai Customs in the presence of the executive directors, heads of departments and employees who wrote statements of appreciation and praise to the teachers. These statements were written on cards and stuck together to form the shape of Ghaf tree, the UAE’s national tree, which has been chosen for the official logo for the Year of Tolerance. The design will be awarded to Al Maktoum Model School in appreciation to the great role played by teachers, who contribute to each aspect of society.
