Dubai Customs concludes summer student training program 2019

Training Center at Dubai Customs concluded the summer training program 2019 which targeted school and college students and helped them learn about Dubai Customs role in protecting society and supporting legitimate trade. 


Dubai Customs has trained 168 college students over the last 4 years (56 students this summer) and helped them learn about the specific roles each department at Dubai Customs has, with the aim of equipping the students with different skills and preparing them for the workforce after graduation.  





“Our summer training program aims to fulfil the vision of our wise leadership of targeting youth as they are the future and hope of the UAE,” Asma Ahmed, Senior Training Executive at Dubai Customs said. “Equipping the students for the workplace of today and tomorrow is the main objective behind the summer training program.”

Sugrah Abdul Mohsen Al Siwar, training officer said training this year focused on practical side, with more awareness around consumers’ rights.
