
HE Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs launched two initiatives today morning: “Safe Inspector” and “Environment Protectors”. The launch was attended by Abdullah Mohammed Al Khaja, General Director of Customer Management Division, Farid Hassan Al Marzouqi, Executive Director, Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division, Eng. Khawla Ibrahim Alsaleis, Director - Administration Affairs Department and a number of heads of customs departments and centers.
Director General of Dubai Customs Ahmed Mahboob Musabih highlighted the big role the Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division plays in ensuring the full safety of inspectors, and in raising awareness around the importance of recycling plastic towards a safer and more sustainable environment.
On his part, Al Marzouqi reaffirmed the HR Division’s efforts to make their employees happier and different initiatives to best use of resources.
Khawla Ibrahim Alsaleis presented the Safe Inspector initiative which raises awareness about the different dangers inspectors might face during work, and the importance of wearing personal protective equipment.
The Environment Protectors initiative raises awareness around the hazards of plastic and the importance of recycling. Plastic is one of the major waste materials in Dubai Customs, and there are plastic sorting and recycling machines in place with which employees can safely get rid of their plastic bottles and containers. Doing so will qualify them to a draw with a chance to win valuable prizes.
