Dubai Customs announced its participation in the third cycle of Dubai Smart Training Initiative to help develop their people’s competencies in government excellence.
The launch ceremony was attended by Dr HE Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmad Abdulla Al Nuseirat, Coordinator General, DGEP, Farid Hassan Al Marzouqi, Executive Director, Human Resources, Finance and Administration Division, and a number of directors and managers of customs centers.
HE Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs thanked Dubai Government Excellence Program for providing world class government excellence training which will help towards materialization of the emirate’s long term plans and strategic vision of turning into the smartest city in the world.
Dubai Customs has organized 978 training sessions that benefited 13,526 people from January 2016 to the end of September 2018.
“We hope the year of tolerance 2019 will be a year of more development and progress through leading initiatives such as the “Smart Training Initiative” following the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai” says Musabih.
Dr Ahmad Abdulla Al Nuseirat, Coordinator General, DGEP highlighted Dubai Customs’ effective role in pushing forward government excellence.
“Dubai Customs is a leader in customs, and an example to follow by other world customs departments. Our wise leadership supports government excellence and encourages it to cope up with the fast shift towards AI and smart services” says Al Nuseirat.
