Dubai Customs’ Training Center has launched its 2018 summer training program targeting UAE national school and college students.
Teamed “Zayed’s Students”, this year’s program lasts for 3 weeks and brings together 30 men and women students, including 3 people of determination.
The annual summer training program is an expression of Dubai Customs’ commitment to developing skilled and knowledgeable nationals that are able to cope with challenges and developments in the world of work.
The Customs Training Center Director Shaikha Al Ghafri pointed out that the summer training program is aimed at equipping participants with on-the-job skills, knowledge and experience and preparing them for a successful career both in the Customs field and the job market in general.
Al Ghafri said that the program this year will focus on training students on Dubai Customs’ core business roles including inspection, customs declarations and operations, claim and refund, tariffs, and customer service.
