Abu Dhabi Municipality delegation learns about partnership approach at Dubai Customs
A delegation from Abu Dhabi Municipality visited Dubai Customs on Sunday March 31, 2013, within the framework of sharing experiences and conducting benchmarking studies in the government partnership field.
The visiting delegation learned about the organisational structure of the Government Partnership Section at the Department of Corporate Communication and its approach and work procedures. They were briefed about the Department’s achievements in reinforcing and boosting relations with strategic partners and how these ties reflect positively on work progress. In addition, they learned about the role of customs centres and departments at Dubai Customs in advancing this partnership through initiatives and projects launched in cooperation with various government entities.
Maryam Al Shamsi, Manager of Government Partnership Section, explained to the visiting delegation how to calculate the added value of strategic partners on a corporate level and the role every department plays in this respect.
Abu Dhabi Municipality delegation included Ahmed Hamad bin Sulaiman, Strategic Planning Expert, and Hamad Hamoud Al Aamri, Strategic Planning Analyst.
