DC’s HR Department gets insider information on DEWA’s best HR practices
A delegation from DC’s Human Resources Department has visited the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), to get insider information on DEWA’s best HR practices and benchmark them with DC’s HR processes.
Khulood Obaid, Senior HR Specialist, and Fatma Juma, HR Specialist, from DC were received by Samia and Ashwak Al Maamari, Issa Al Hosni and Maitha bin Sabih.
Workforce planning system, the time needed to determine departments’ personnel requirements and the connection between the Business Process Department and workforce planning system team in pinpointing personnel requirements, were some of the highlights of the visit.
In addition, DC’s HR specialists learned about DEWA’s employee performance management as per S.M.R.T.E.R, its applicable percentage distribution, performance management KPIs as well as the behavioural competencies gap analysis and appraisal grievance procedures at DEWA.
