The HR Department receives a delegation from Dubai Culture
In line with Dubai Customs keenness on maintaining a higher level of partnership with Dubai Government agencies. A delegation from Dubai Culture visited the Human Resources Department and the Customs Training Center with the aim of gaining knowledge on DC’s best practices and to learn from its successful experience in human capital investment and development.
The visit was coordinated by the Government Partnership Section. Aysha Al Muhairi, Training and Performance Section Manager at Dubai Culture, was received by Kholoud Obaid, HR Senior Specialist, Lana Al Issawi, Evaluation Specialist, Fatma Juma, HR Specialist, Huda Juma, Customs Development Officer, Mustafa Hamam, Senior Training Specialist and Ibrahim Salim, Trainer at DC Training Center.
The visit agenda included a brief on DC’s followed procedures in performance management and the competencies matrix. DC officials delivered a presentation on the Talent Pool Program which is aimed at creating a competent generation of Emirati youth, capable of assuming future leadership roles and enjoys a spirit of creativity and innovation. Moreover, the Training Center personnel showcased their experience on the training needs assessment process, post training evaluation methodology as well as the orientation program of new joiners and the training facilities used.
