Islamic Affairs delegation explores HR systems at DC 

A delegation from the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department paid a visit to Dubai Customs, to view and discuss the attendance system implemented by DC. The meetings objective was to get an overview of the attendance system, learn about the different channels of tracking the employees attendance and observe the methods used while signing in and out of the system.
At the Dubai Customs headquarters, the delegation was received by Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Balooshi, Employee Relations Manager (Acting), Ayda Sulaiman Abumousaed, Employee Relations Coordinator,  and Shatha Taher, Employee Relations Senior Officer.
From their end, Mr. Ali Al Sayed Hashim Al Hashmi, Head of Personnel Affairs Section and Hassan Ibrahim Hassan Al Bisher, Incharge Human Resources System, attended the meeting to observe the system and policy implemented at DC in efforts to see the best channels used, and take a firsthand look in order to learn about the several techniques and methods available.
“During our meeting, we gave a thorough presentation on our attendance system in order to assist our visitors, and show them how we keep track of the attendance of thousands of employees,” Mr. Abdulaziz Khalil Al Balooshi said.
During the meeting, Ms. Ayda Sulaiman Abumousaed gave the presentation which focused on an array of subtopics within attendance, such as the objective of tying the attendance system with the employee’s salary, a comparison between the old attendance system with the newly implemented system, the attendance procedure covering early dismissal and late arrivals and finally a step-by-step guide to how the fingerprint machine is used. 
Concluding the meeting, the officials thanked Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Balooshi and his team for their presentation and efforts. They praised Dubai Customs efforts towards implementing a sophisticated system. Dubai Customs gifted the delegation with a gift pack containing a customized booklet about DC’s history and sustainability.
