DC Human Resources and Customs Training Centre received
On Monday, May 4th, 2015, at Al-Boom Hall, in Dubai Customs Head Office, the DC’s Human Resources Department and Customs Training Centre received a delegation from the Dubai Land Department who got briefed on the best practices, procedures, and electronic systems adopted in Dubai Customs.
Lubna Al Muhairi, Director of Human Resources Department at Dubai Customs as well as a number of officials from the Department and the Customs Training Centre hosted this visiting delegation that included Ms. Noura Al Jasmi, Director of Policy and System Department, Ms. Hamda Al Marri, Senior Deputy Manager of Training Department at Dubai Land and Ms. Hanaa Ali Mohammed, HR Chief Executive.
The Human Resources Department, then, presented to the visiting delegation the various smart services that facilitate procedures and save time and efforts. These smart services are provided in the different applied systems, including performance evaluation, promotions, work force planning, attendance, penalties, self-services, leaves, training, employment, and others. The most recent and remarkable HR initiatives were also introduced to the delegation, along with how to technologically apply these smart services.
On the other hand, the Customs Training Centre presented to the visiting delegation the mechanism of nominating employees for training courses, contracting with training companies and motivating employees. It also introduced the regulations, bonuses, and additional allowances, along with a further explanation on several systems, such as performance management, career path, and job description. The Customs Training Centre was represented by Mr. Mostafa Hamam.
