Dubai Customs Employees volunteer in the art of dealing with the disabled people’s initiative
A group of Dubai Customs female employees participated on Saturday, February 27th, as volunteers in the initiative dubbed (the art of dealing with people with disabilities) during its holding at the press conference at Dubai Club for the Disabled. This comes in response to the initiative dubbed "My Community, Place for All" launched in November 2013 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. The initiative aims to transform Dubai entirely into a city friendly with the people of disability by 2020, promoting community awareness of the rights of the persons with disabilities, and the importance of their integration in various areas of society.
Dubai Customs female employees participated in such initiative, including (Najla Darwish - Afaf Khajh- Suhaila Thani) from the airport-based Customs free zone customs center, alongside Amina Mehrab from the Customs Data Department. Participation in the initiative (the art of dealing with the people with disabilities) came in coordination with Asaad Shaib team as volunteers, as community humanitarian societal initiative aiming to deal with the objective of dealing with the disabled people’s category.
