Customs Declarations Management female employees celebrating Eid with the ‘Family Village’ orphans
In line with Dubai Customs keenness on taking part in social responsibility initiatives within the UAE, including the “The UAE Initiative for Connection with Orphans and Minors” launched by H.H Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai , aimed at supporting the bonds of unity and empathy amongst the community.
On the 22nd of September2015, a group of the Customs Declarations Management female employees visited the ‘Family Village’ orphans’ in order to bring happiness to their hearts, for such deeds are of the best gratifying practices in Islamic doctrines, which entices such demeanour with the promise of great rewards.
DC employees shared moments of happiness with 20 male and female orphans, while approaching them in friendly chats, Eid gifts and Eid bounty.
This initiative received the full support of Eman Al Suwaidi, Director of Customs Declaration Department. The scope of the initiative was first presented by, Marwa Saif, Muna Al Marzooqi, Fatima Buti and Widad Ali.
