As part of Dubai Customs’ ongoing development programs aimed at devising simplified and effective procedures to enhance trade flows, the Customs Audit Department of Dubai Customs has introduced an initiative whereby inventory systems of FZ companies holding Customs business code with a trade license in Dubai shall be developed/upgraded consistent with the requirements of Dubai Customs electronic system.
The ultimate objective of the initiative is to facilitate customs inventory audit and unite the features of the inventory systems used by all companies holding Free Zone trade license in Dubai, so that these companies will be able to generate inventory reports that are consistent with the language used in Mirsal 2 system.
For better integration of all business stakeholders, the initiative also targets logistics and customs clearance companies that provide goods storage and management services for their customers in their warehouses at Dubai’s free zones.
