  • TICSS(The International Customer Service Standard)

    It is one of the first international standards for clients services that helps in increasing the level of the Department's customer services, by providing a number of services that helps in executing the standard, providing gateway for information transaction, benchmarking of world's best practices. All in an effort to deliver excellence in customer service and raising awareness on client service and creating a customer focus culture. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2015


    ISO 31000:2010 ( Risk Management)

    This is a risk management standard developed by ISO to provide basics and guidelines for the organizational risk management. The standard can be implemented on various activities, including strategies, decisions, operations, tasks, projects, products, services and assets. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2014

  • ISO 10002:2004 (Customer Complaint Management System)

    This standard aims at establishing a reliable and unified reference based upon the international best practices in effective management of clients' complaints, and building on such complaints to improve the Department's overall services and performance; consequently increasing the level of clients' satisfaction. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2008


    ISO 10001:2007(Client Service Charter)

    This charter aims at setting the standard for Dubai Customs' delivered services quality, which includes all inquiries and complaints related to these services. It also covers all points of service delivery as well as it sets the standard for a number of major services delivery time in order to gradually expand to include all Dubai Customs' major services. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2009


  • ISO 20000 (International IT Service Management Standard)

    An integrated management system based upon applied operations that leads to the delivery of best technical services meeting work and clients' ( both internal and external) needs. It is a set of rules and standards which evaluate the levels of efficiency and efficacy of the Department's IT services. It also defines the needed requirements for delivering IT services with high quality and efficiency This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2012


    SA 8000(Social Accountability)

    It is one of the world’s first auditable social certification standards for decent workplaces. It is based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, conventions of the ILO, UN and international law, and is in line with local legislations. The ultimate aim of the standard is to protect the human rights of workers. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2009

  • ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System)

    It is a set of requirements that define an institution's means of constructing and enacting an effective environmental management system with the aim of reducing waste and waste management costs, in addition to power saving and boosting the Department's status among organizations, the public and clients. It also provides a framework for continuously enhancing the Department's environmental performance and the effective response to emergency plans. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2009

     


  • OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System)

    OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) is an internationally applied Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2009

     


  • ISO 27001:2005 (Information Security Management System)

    This standard is intended to set up an effective information security management system by means of implementing a set of standards and conditions that ensure information safety, confidentiality, privacy, and accessibility by authorized personnel, thus ensuring business continuity. The international standard covers 11 key domains: information security policy, organizational structure of information security, asset management, human resources security, physical and environmental security, inform​ation​ security system communications and operations management, information system acquisition development and maintenance, information access control, information security risk management, business continuity management, and regulatory compliance. Under these domains, 133 controls are defined as mandatory to determine the organization’s conformity with the international standard. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2009

     


  • ISO 10015:1999(Training Management System)

    This one of ISO series standards which provides guidelines to assist organizations in implementing a quality management system for training services through a set of terms and requirements. The standard also helps defining the requirements of implementation stages and setting appropriate procedures for monitoring systems and processes, which aids in aligning evaluation and training to performance objectives, performance feedback and the effectiveness of employee training strategies. This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2014

     


  • ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System )

    It defines and sets the requirements and conditions needed to ensure quality management, in order to establish reliable system for quality control and assessment, processes evaluation, identifying potentials for improvement, encouraging proactive initiatives and the continuous quality improvement while engaging all DC employees in quality monitoring and improvement . This award obtained by Dubai Customs in 2005
