Abu Dhabi Statistics Center learns about Dubai Customs‘ Suggestions System
The Suggestions & Complaints Section at Dubai Customs’ Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department has received a delegation from the Statistics Centre − Abu Dhabi (SCAD), with the aim of learning about best practices in the field of suggestions and complaints systems. The visit was coordinated by the Government Partnership Section.
Hussain Al Fardan, Manager of Suggestions & Complaints Section, and Mariam Khalifa Al Shamsi, Manager of Government Partnership Section, received the SCAD delegation, which comprised Mohammed Hamza Al Ali, Legal Researcher, Thumna Al Rashidi, Statistical Researcher, and Noura Al Rashidi, Information Security Officer.
Al Fardan delivered a presentation on Dubai Customs’ Suggestions and Complaints System. He elaborated on suggestions assessment criteria, communication channels with internal and external customers, rewards for applicable suggestions, incentives and training. He listed the local, regional and international accolades granted to Dubai Customs in the field of suggestions.
Some of the suggestions submitted through the system contributed effectively to improving procedures, overall performance, productivity and revenues.
At the end of the visit, both sides exchanged trophies.
